Throughout the year Abhyuday organizes talks, workshops, blood donation drives, and collaborated events with eminent social organizations like UNICEF and PETA. Abhyuday’s flagship fellowships program provides an opportunity to the youth to dive deep into the social sector and create a direct impact while working with established organizations.
The fellowship program of Abhyuday, Profectus, provides a platform for students to connect with the social sector and contribute to change. With over 30 paid internship opportunities in NGOs, public-spirited companies, and socially inclined organizations, Profectus offered a wide range of fields to work for the students of IIT Bombay.
Coordinator’s All Team Meet is aimed at motivating the UG sophomores to start their journey with Abhyuday IIT Bombay as a coordinator. The event was graced by the presence of Padma Shri Kailash Kher, a spiritual and sufi singer. Along with this, we had Mr. Aakash Ranison who shared his experience as a climate activist on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Events surrounding the pandemic led to a declining trend in mental health and psychosocial well-being, especially among the youth of the nation. With spectatorship of over 500, Abhyuday in collaboration with UNICEF India and iCALL, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, hosted a talk featuring a mental health expert and a youth representative to address and abate concerns of the youth.
Each Independence Day, we all stand together to present our gratitude to soldiers and people whose efforts made us see this day. Abhyuday IIT Bombay, on the 75th Independence Day, organized 'Sandesh to Soldiers', in which residents of IIT Bombay wrote letters to salute the soldiers and all the frontline heroes who sacrifice their lives to protect us and to appreciate the efforts made by them in these difficult times.
For the launch of Action Plan, the social entrepreneurship competition of Abhyuday IIT Bombay, we organised an event ‘From Idea to Fruition: Stepping towards Social Entrepreneurship’. The guest for the talk session was Mr Kalpit Veerwal, CEO and Founder of Acadboost Group, where he spoke about his experience as an entrepreneur and other aspects of social entrepreneurship.

Abhyuday in collaboration with Sthaniya Lokadhikar Samiti and KEM Hospital organised a Blood Donation Drive at the Convocation Foyer, IIT Bombay. The event was a great success; the blood collected has the potential to save a whopping 948 lives.
